Today we got to pick a saint I picked St Isabella because my name is Isabella.This was a lot of fun. I have been working on this activity for only two days. I like learning new things just like this activity were we got to pick a saint even it we new nothing about them because we would still have to do research about them.This is all the information about St Isabella.

Quakers In the Himalayas

Today we got to use creativity to find a place for Quakers the duck I put him in a place that looks like the Himalaya's it was a lot of fun.

Duffy books

Today we got Duffy books we all got 2.We get them for free.My two books are called Ranger in time.and Wing of fire the poison Jungle.A big thank you to duffy for giving the school cool books for free.I am a book worm so I love to read.If the book does not have pitchers I will think what the pitchers would look like if they were there.

 

Eco trip

WALT:report about school trips

 Last Friday me and my class went to the dump.(I know that sounds yuk) but it was really fun. We learnt how to make compost,and held some worms they felt weird. 

Did you know that if the worms are in the sun or in the warmth the will die.we also got to make compost the smell was not very nice at all.

We learnt that you can put egg holders  in the green bin as long as the have no plastic on them.Make shore that you are putting only recicable things into the yellow bin because all the rubbish we use all the bad things in the rubbish goes into the air.

There was small groups to do different things like one we had to get all the worm poo from a bin and put it in the worm tub were all the worms are.One we made the beds and there bed is also there food.The last one we collected worm tea and put it into a watering can then put water into the same watering can and watered some plants.

Did you know that worms breath throw there skin.we had small white boards and had to tell what goes were in the compost bin.I hope you lernt some thing.do you have a compost bin at home?

Swimming in the deep

 WALT: swim safely in deep water.

For the past week and a half we have been doing swimming a QE2  in deep water. Yesterday we swam in 2 meter deep water we practise water safety like we were in the sea or a river.It was a lot of fun we had to have life jackets on.Because it was so deep we got to dive into the water or cannonball or pencil dive.I got my information form myself because I was doing the swimming.Do you like swimming?
